Larry was Ron and my Bible teacher. Due to Ron’s health he was not a fluent reader so the studies were very slow; too slow for me as i loved to read. I read ahead in the truth book and i wanted to jump ahead and read that like the blood issue, the holidays, etc. So we were in Dec and we already had a Christmas tree and 3 small children the youngest being 4. Out the Christmas tree went. Then as soon as we could see our Dr we took our stand on blood which proved to be a very valuable stand within the next few months. Larry was very accommodating to my impatience, even tho we might be in the middle of a chapter Larry still was always willing to jump around in the book. Due to Ron’s health he would get depressed at times. I called Larry and he would come over and help Ron feel better, Larry was a life saver many a time and also a very dear, dear friend.

We had a book study in our home before we were ever baptized. The funny part comes in here; our kitchen was very small in fact you could not open the fridge when we sat at the table for a meal. So one evening we sisters were at a baby shower while our husbands were at our house visiting. When us sisters got back a whole wall was gone from our house and plastic put up !! I was bewildered as we had no monies to pay for the addition. Of course Larry was in charge and had it all figured out; thanks to him we got a dining room we could have meals in.

Where are the one's now, with the very best stories? Also in Jehovah's memory......drat! I can think of sooo many names of those in that 5th st KH.... [Larry & Naomi] had to be early 20s then! Judy and began attending at ages 7 and 8.....[Larry & Naomi] had such a deep love of the truth, and were always well balanced! [Larry] assigned our parts in the ministry school! [Joel and Debbie] were 2 of the most adorable I had ever seen! I would just stare at you both! Awwww there's about 3 recent morning worships on PATIENCE! I need to view them every day! I hope my own memories are stirred, as other's tell of their own ....Much love, Mary.
